The other 2-1 team (Fill Ins) beat us in that last game!! Again, I know we had the best team out there, and it is shame that we lost because of our own feeble hitting (most of us) and bad strategy at the end of the game. I would like to take this time to say . . . in the future, ANYTIME during a game where you think we should do something (like in this case, put the guy on and pitch to the girl) do not hesitate to call timeout and bring it to my attention. I believe that we are all intelligent players and there are times when I may not see something on the field that you see. Call time, and check. We, as a team, always need to be open to discussions regarding strategy, etc., and we need to play smart as well as hard!! Now for the wards (given by me): First, SCMAF gave us a nice sweatshirt to give to the MVP of the tournament, and I chose to give the award to Ethan Wyckoff. Good job kid!!
